The extension watches the game page for its Share button, presses it for you the moment the puzzle ends, and logs the result. Your clipboard is left alone, and pressing Share yourself afterwards still works for sending it to friends.
- Chrome or Edge: install it from the Chrome Web Store. Firefox: download the extension, unzip it somewhere it can stay, then open
about:debugging → This Firefox → Load Temporary Add-on and pick manifest.firefox.json. Safari: get the Dailies Capture app, open it once, then turn the extension on under Safari → Settings → Extensions. Safari and Firefox ask before the extension may run on a site, so when the popup lists game sites, press Allow. - Click the Dailies icon → Connect to Dailies. A tab opens here showing a code; check it matches the one in the popup and press Allow. That is the whole sign-in: no token to copy.
- Play a game. When it ends, a toast on the game page says what was saved. The icon's popup lists recent captures.
The extension then shows up as “Browser extension” under Settings → Connected apps, which you can revoke whenever you like. Pasting a token in by hand still works, under Options → Advanced.
